A 50-watt solar power system which converts the energy from the sun into Direct Current (DC) electricity for households.

The system can generate electricity up to 225W/h per day which can power-up 5 LED bulbs (12v DC, 3 watts) for 6 hours each per day, and charge 5 units of cell phone per day. The lights and cellphone charging sockets can be shared/distributed in a cluster of five households. It is easy to maintain.

Components

  • 50-watt solar panel
  • 1 deep cycle battery (12v and 40Ah)
  • 1 Charge controller
  • 5 LED bulbs (12v DC and 3 watts)
  • 1 unit of DC to DC cell phone charger
  • Cables (10 meters) and accessories

Optional: DC electric fan, DC TV

The system can be installed in one day. A community representative will be trained for maintenance. A contact person will be selected for ease in the event of trouble shooting with Solarsolutions.

For Remote Locations:
Solarsolutions requests for the transportation expenses from manila to the site and lodging of two (2) persons who will install the system and train the community on the use and maintenance of the system.
